Memory Lane: Hats off for our next Gang Show

Scouts and Cubs brought life to Lynn’s streets in March, 1989, when promoting their next Gang Show being held over five nights at the end of the month.

It would be the last production to be staged at the Fermoy Centre – and also the first at the renamed King’s Lynn Centre for the Arts, because of the venue’s name change.

The 51-strong gang of Scouts, Cubs, Venture Scouts and leaders had been rehearsing since December for the two-hour show, following the traditional Ralph Reader pattern of music and sketches.
