North Wootton Primary School pupils given tips on visit to King’s Lynn’s Pizza Express in 2004

In our weekly Schooldays Nostalgia feature, we look back to February 2004...

North Wootton Primary School pupils were given tips on how to make perfect pizzas – from the experts – in February 2004.

Staff at Lynn’s Pizza Express gave the children a crash course in Italian cuisine and then donated 30 pizza pans to the school as well.

The national pizza chain had widened the baking trays it used and decided to give the old ones to the school.

All Year 1 and 2 pupils attended the course. They designed and baked their own pizzas before taking them home for supper.
