An ambulance was called to an accident on Lynn Road shortly after 3pm.

A spokeswoman for the service said they did not transfer anyone to hospital.

And emergency services were also called to an accident on the A1065 at Castle Acre around 5pm.

Fire crews from Dereham and Swaffham attended to make the scene safe, leaving from around 6.15pm.

A spokeswoman for the ambulance service said two people were taken to Lynn's hospital following the accident.

Elsewhere, traffic was also queuing on the A17 in both directions, which was causing disruption to drivers in the Sutton Bridge area.

At least one person was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a three-vehicle collision at Long Sutton yesterday afternoon.

It involved a green and red DAF HGV, a red Peugeot 207 and a black Volkswagen Touran, which were in collision at the roundabout with the A1101 Wisbech Road, near McDonalds Roundabout, at about 1pm.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: "One of the drivers has been taken to hospital with serious injuries."

The road was blocked as a result of the collision, and was closed
