Air ambulance called after crash at B1145 Lynn Road at Gayton between car and pedestrian




Emergency services have been called to the scene of a crash after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Gayton this afternoon.

Police, ambulance crews and an air ambulance have responded to the collision on the B1145 Lynn Road, which was reported at about 4pm.

A police spokeswoman said it happened between the junctions with Winch Road and Lansdowne Close.

As of 4.45pm, officers were still at the scene.

Lynx buses are not currently following the normal route on service 48/49A due to the incident.

They advised passengers to expect delays and diversions to the routes for the rest of the afternoon.

The East of England Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
