Stones were found on a village club’s floor after three windows were smashed in a suspected act of vandalism.

The committee which runs Northwold Sports and Social Club expressed frustration after discovering the damage last week.

Images posted on the venue’s Facebook page show large cracks and holes in the windows.

A spokesperson for the social club said: “As a committee we are very upset that this has happened tonight.

“We all work really hard as volunteers to keep our much loved club going for our nice little village, but this behaviour is not acceptable.

“If any one has any information about this, please do not hesitate to get in touch with a committee member.”
