Little Miracles King’s Lynn branch held a fete at Hudson Fen at Pott Row
A fun-filled village fete recieved a lot of support and raised a smashing amount for charity.
On Sunday, Paul Bland – the deputy mayor of Lynn – and Karen Roberts opened the Little Miracles fundraising fete at Hudson Fen in Pott Row.
On the day, different organisations came along for free to support the charity and charged on the day, with the money raised being donated back to Little Miracles.
There were ten stalls selling different items, along with vendors, a fair and bouncy castles – which were all donated for the day of fun, as was the field.
Lavendar Hill Mob, a special needs theatre group, was in attendance and did singing and sign language throughout the day.
The branch coordinator of Lynn’s Little Miracles and organiser, Erica Dalton, said: “My smile did not leave my face.
“It was an amazing day, I was so happy the entire time knowing that Little Miracles the group we run pulled that off.
“Soon as the fete opened, it was almost like it was time to close again, it went by so quickly.”
The amount of money raised from the fete for Little Miracles was £251.
Erica added: “I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who turned up on the day all the supporters, and walking traffic.
“It was my first fete and I am so happy it went really well.”
