Another man arrested in connection with hare coursing and violent disorder across Fenland

Another man has been arrested in connection with an investigation into violent disorder and criminality which saw a large area terrorised by hare coursers last month.

A force-led investigation was launched in January following multiple complaints of hare coursing, criminal damage and dangerous driving on January 2, affecting Welney.

A 40-year-old man from Hungerford, in Berkshire, has now been arrested in Peterborough this afternoon on suspicion of violent disorder and attending a hare coursing event.
