The victim, who is aged in his 70s, became unsteady on his feet - and the suspect continued to assault him on the ground.

The police believe the two men may have been involved in a disagreement about their dogs before the assault.

The victim suffered injuries to his face, although they did not require hospital treatment.

Officers would like to speak to anyone in the area at the time who has yet to speak to the police, or anybody who witnessed the incident or stopped to offer assistance.
