Appeal over accident in King's Lynn on A149




Police are appealing for witnesses following a two-vehicle collision on the A149 in Lynn yesterday.

It happened shortly before 9am on Queen Elizabeth Way at the junction with Castle Rising, Lynn Road, when a blue VW Golf and a white Audi A1 were involved in a collision.

The driver of the Audi, a woman in her 50s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Lynn's Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn, where she currently remains.

The driver of the VW Golf, a man in his 20s, suffered minor injuries and attended Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn but has since been discharged.

Road closures were put in place at Knights Hill while an investigation was carried out and were later lifted shortly after 10.20am.

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
