Artificial trees stolen from Downham garden centre




An investigation has been launched after two artificial Christmas trees were stolen from outside a West Norfolk garden centre.

Police say the three metre high trees, which are worth around £3,500 in total, were stolen from the Downham Home and Garden site in Stonecross Lane, Downham, sometime between 5pm on Sunday and 8am yesterday.

The trees were secured to the ground and a mains power supply at the time.

Anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area, or who has information, is asked to contact PC David Godbold on 101, quoting incident number 36/80737/19.
