The woman was first on scene to aid the man who after dancing along to Billie Jean as performed by Michael Jackson tribute act Navi, audience members noticed something was wrong and alerted people around the man, who is suggested at being in his sixties, to help.

As previously reported the man was airlifted to the Norwich and Norfolk hospital where he still remains in a critical condition.

The witness said: "The second half of the Navi concert had just started.

"The song Shake Your Body Down to the Ground was playing and the gentleman who became ill stood up to the side and started dancing.

"He was really going for it, having the time of his life, trying to encourage everyone else to stand up and dance too.

"I was dancing two rows behind him.

"The song changed to Billy Jean, the theatre went very dark and it was hard to see.

"I saw a few people leaning towards him and he was leaning forward clutching what looked like his side.

"I thought he had banged himself on the rail whilst dancing so I went over to see if he was okay.

"As I got closer he started slouching forward and more people wear gathering around him.

"I shouted move out of the way I'm first aid trained.

"I got my phone and put the torch on and shined, by this point he was almost face down on the ground with his knees on the floor.

"I shouted 'I need an ambulance' and someone helped me roll him on to his side.

"Everyone was just standing there so I repeated myself louder.

"A woman came over and helped me turn him and she said she was an off duty paramedic. "She checked his pulse and shouted for a defibrillator.

"His airways were full and he couldn't breathe and as I got closer I realised it was much more serious"

"It took some 20 minutes to get the code for the defibrillator from a manager who was backstage with Navi."

According to the witness she has been getting updates from the wife of the man concerned who is still in a critical state in the hospital.

"She said: "His wife has been informing me and she was clearly in shock.

"All she kept saying was he's on blood pressure medication over and over again.

"My friend who came to the show with me, who also helped, used to be a manager at a care home and now works as a security officer and has just had his first aid training.

"The off-duty paramedic said she thought he had gone into cardiac arrest.

"He is being assessed again today and because I helped him I've been getting updates."
