BBC presenter Chris Packham comments on Wild Ken Hill fire in Snettisham
A fire that ripped through the wildlife reserve at Wild Ken Hill in Snettisham yesterday has been commented upon by BBC wildlife presenter Chris Packham.
It started yesterday and declared a major incident with the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service.
Managers at the site will be making a public statement forthwith, having assessed the damage and made sure everyone is safe.
Chris Packham has visited Wild Ken Hill for the last two years with BBC's The Watches, along with fellow presenter Michaela Strachan.
He retweeted the Lynn News' coverage and commented on Twitter saying: "On a day of searing tragedy across the world this hit home personally.
"So much hard work undone by global madness.
"All thoughts with those at @WildKenHill.

West Norfolk fires have been reported in Castle Rising and Brancaster Staithe as a direct result from the red weather warnings with temperatures soaring past 30 degrees celsius.
