West Norfolk motorcycle clubs deliver Easter eggs to the children




Two bike clubs have collaborated in delivering Easter eggs to children's homes at the weekend.

On Sunday, the King's Lynn Scooter Boys worked together with the Enslaved Brotherhood Motorcycle Club to bring some Easter cheer to children.

Club members met in the Tuesday Market Place in Lynn before setting off on bikes and scooters to West Lynn and on to Dereham.

Easter eggs were also given to children from Norwich and Wymondham and many bikers supported the event.

Barry Eglen from the King's Lynn Scooter Boys said: "It was fantastic."

Organiser Mickey Wells, from Fincham of Enslaved Brotherhood said: "We gave 330 eggs in total.

"One of my guys counted nearly 80 bikers in attendance.

"It will be a yearly thing from now on.

"I used to work at the college with my wife and all the children have special needs, have been abused or neglected.

"I love doing it, they are lovely kids.

"We dropped off 250 eggs in Dereham which will be taken round by the manager to each children's home which are run by Norfolk County Council (NCC).

"99 per cent of the eggs were donated by supermarkets, Tesco, Waitrose, Lidl and Asda from Lynn, Swaffham and Downham."
