BREAKING NEWS: Pedestrian dies following collision with train on West Norfolk line

A person has died after being struck by a train on the main line to and from Lynn today.

British Transport Police say they were called to the section of track between Lynn and Watlington, shortly before 11am today.

The person, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No trains are running between Lynn and Ely at the moment. Great Northern says replacement buses have been ordered and a shuttle service will begin running as soon as possible.

Greater Anglia are also accepting tickets.
