Award hat-trick for Barefoot Retreats as Burnham Market business celebrates tenth anniversary
A business that offers a range of luxury holiday homes along our coastline is celebrating a milestone birthday.
Barefoot Retreats celebrated ten years of business earlier this week – and has scooped three awards to mark the special occasion.
The business is owned and managed by Norfolk-born Emma Mason, who worked alongside the late Paul Whittome running The Hoste Arms in Burnham Market for more than 20 years.
Emma said the team, which operates out of its Overy Road premises, is thrilled to mark this special anniversary with the award wins.
“Our team, from housekeeping and property services to reservations, management, accounts, and marketing, work tirelessly to provide an exceptionally high standard of holiday homes and customer service,” she said.
All three awards were independently judged, with Barefoot Retreats winning:
- Luxlife Travel & Tourism Award for ‘Best Independent Luxury Self-Catering East Anglia’
- SME News’ Best of British Getaways Award for ‘Best Luxury Holiday Cottage Company East of England’
- European Enterprise Award for ‘Best Luxury Cottage Accommodation North Norfolk’
Emma said: “These awards recognise their hard work and dedication and I cannot think of a better way to celebrate.
“It’s important to keep Norfolk firmly on the holiday destination map.
“The tourism industry is vital to our local economy, and we are pleased to be welcoming visitors throughout the year to experience our beautiful county”.
Jack Ford, SME news awards co-ordinator, said: “It’s always a pleasure to illuminate the accomplishments of the businesses that welcome people from across the world, going above and beyond to ensure that they have a pleasant and memorable stay.”
To celebrate the special date, Barefoot Retreats is giving away ten golden tickets through competitions across its social media accounts and mailing list.
The golden tickets will offer the likes of £250 off a luxury retreat, a stay at the Railway Hotel in Burnham Market, and a £50 voucher for the Barefoot Living lifestyle shop.
