Calls for new committee members to join Hunstanton in Bloom

Exciting floral plans are coming up for a town as Hunstanton in Bloom committee looks for more members.

At Hunstanton Town Council’s full meeting last Wednesday, councillors were visited by chair of the In Bloom committee Adrian Winnington where they were informed of upcoming plans.

Mr Winnington, who recently took over the role from Carol Bower, said he has been working with local schools and community groups to organise flower displays around the town. He is calling for people to submit their photos of floral arrangements in the town.

He said that Hunstanton’s Men’s Shed is making a steam engine display for the town.

Mr Winnington said: “We are always looking for new members.

“Being a judge is really interesting, seeing what other towns do to improve their environment.”
