Circus performers entertain King's Lynn crowd




A crowd gathered today in Lynn as they were entertained by a circus act duo in the town centre.

Pirate Taxi displayed their talents to onlookers who paused with their shopping to take a look.

Alix Young, assistant manager, Vancouver Quarter said: "Circus performers took to the streets this week thanks to the Vancouver Quarter and Discover King’s Lynn.

"Pirates of the Carabina brought their Pirate Taxi show to New Conduit Street which saw daring gymnastic and acrobatic feats performed in, around and above a London black cab. "The pair have recently performed at Glastonbury festival.

"Mat-E-Tricks, who’s been performing at the Fringe in Edinburgh, showcased his fire eating and hoop skills in pop-up performances on Broad Street."

More free street entertainment will be on offer next Wednesday, August 31, between 11am and 3pm in the Vancouver Quarter.

A free big top event will be held in The Walks next weekend with performances on September 2, 3 and 4.

Free tickets are available from the cafe in The Walks.
