Coastline runner has completed West Norfolk stretch and sets off in June for Lincolnshire
The coastline runner Luke Douglas-Home is set to start the next stretch of his route.
Having completed the West Norfolk chapter of his challenge that brings awareness to climate issues, Luke will be starting the Lincolnshire stage from Sutton Bridge.
From June1, he will run the 30 kilometres via The Wash to Fosdyke Village Hall.
A week later on June, 8, World Oceans Day, he will be running from Fosdyke Village Hall via The Wash to Boston. This is the 10th stretch of his initiative.
Luke is a chartered environmentalist and the founder of A Future Without Rubbish.
Norfolk county councillor, Andrew Jamieson said: "We should all join the Coastline Runner on Norfolk’s beautiful coast, and beyond.
"Mayors, councillors, businesses, journalists and sponsors are."
Luke is aiming to run and swim as much of the British coastline as possible within the first year of the UN’s Decade of Ocean Science, collecting shoreline plastic.
