Coffee with councillors ahead of May local elections
A new coffee morning session will allow members of a coastal community to meet councillors ahead of the local elections in May.
Hunstanton councillors will be on hand between 10am and 12 noon tomorrow morning (Saturday, March 30) to talk to members of the public.
The councillors will be at The Community Centre on Avenue Road in the town.
It is an opportunity for people to find out what goes on at committee meetings and to raise any points of interest that may need to be explained.
Moreover, with the council elections taking place in May, time is running out for nominations as papers have to be in by Wednesday, April 3.
Therefore, it may well be the final formal chance to find out about the elections and how to get involved.
Coffee and biscuits will be available plus the chance to chat with friends.
The next coffee morning after tomorrow's will be Saturday, April 27, after which the event will move to the afternoon.
There is also a councillor's surgery on the first Monday of each month as part of the indoor car boot session held at Hunstanton Town Hall every Monday.
