College of West Anglia students return to main campus after police detain man
Students are now making their way back to their main campus in Lynn following a police incident this morning.
The College of West Anglia's campus on Tennyson Avenue has now been reopened by police.
Students had been redirected to Lynnsport instead after police were called to reports of concern for the safety of a man who had barricaded himself in the main campus building.
Police said the man was detained as investigations continue.
A statement by the college, issued around 10am said: "Following an earlier incident at the King’s Lynn campus, police have now re-opened the site. Students and staff who had been directed to Lynnsport are now making their way back to the main campus, where teaching and learning will resume as normal."
