West Norfolk Council to analyse budget survey results
West Norfolk Council is set to analyse the results of a budget survey which saw more than 1,000 people take part.
The authority’s survey concluded on December 1, and work to examine the results now begins.
It has pledged to report back to people on the results and how it intends to take them forward. The council will also pick and notify the prize winners as soon as possible.
Cllr Alistair Beales, leader of the borough council, said: “I’d like to start with a big thank you to everyone who took part.
“In total, we had 1,088 responses – more than we expected and it shows how much people care about the borough and what happens in it. Their views will help the council to prepare its future budgets.
“Reading and interpreting the results may take a bit longer but this is a challenge I welcome!”
The survey asked people for their views in a number of areas, including different types of services, council tax, and other fees and charges.
It also invited them to give their own ideas for making savings or increasing income.
One winner will be able to choose from a three-month Alive membership, family panto ticket for four at the Corn Exchange, or two comedy night tickets at the Corn Exchange.
One runner-up will be able to choose from a family cinema trip for four at the Corn Exchange, family swimming, or a seven-day Alive pass for two.
