Carl and Michelle Smith, who are splitting the money between Bridge for Heroes and Lavender Hill Mob Theatre Company, said they were delighted with the turn out of their evening at the Knights Hill Hotel in Lynn.

Carl said: “The event went really well, we had a turn out of around 90 people. We received some great feedback, it was well worth the 18 month planning.

“We had some brilliant prizes in our raffle and auction. There was a football signed by Manchester United which went for £185.

“There were some really awesome prizes.”
