Delays expected as A149 closes at Babingley after lorry overturns

The A149 at Babingley is currently closed this afternoon, with emergency services on scene following reports a lorry had rolled over.

Delays are expected in the area, with Lynxbus saying their buses are currently on a diversion via Sandringham, Hillington and the A148.

They said the road is expected to be closed "for a few hours".

A police spokeswoman said they were called to reports at about 12.50pm that a lorry had rolled over and come to rest in a bank.

She said the road is currently closed, with officers on scene.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision.
