Heavy traffic on A17 between Terrington St Clement and Long Sutton after crash at Sutton Bridge

Part of a busy road linking Norfolk to Lincolnshire is blocked after a two-vehicle crash earlier today.

There is congestion on the A17 near Sutton Bridge after the collision, which is believed to have involved a caravan, on the Norfolk side of the bridge.

The AA Traffic Planner says the major route is partially blocked and there are queues of traffic due to recovery work and the crash near East Bank.

Traffic congestion is reported between Terrington St Clement and the Wisbech Road roundabout near Long Sutton.

Reports of the collision were first posted on social media at around 10.45am.

Norfolk Police has been approached for comment.
