Deliveroo launches today in King's Lynn

Food delivery giants Deliveroo launch in Lynn today, placing the town firmly on the food delivery map following the arrival of UberEats last year.

The company announced their plans to branch out to 100 new locations across the country earlier this year, but brought forward their launch in Lynn to help restaurants and customers during lockdown.

Harrison Foster, regional director in the UK, said: "Launching in King's Lynn is a key milestone for Deliveroo. King's Lynn has a thriving foodie community and a wide range of restaurants and retailers, so we’re excited to connect them. We look forward to working with our new partners to reach a new customer base and expand their businesses.”

Those living in Lynn will now be able to get home delivery from KFC and Subway, along with local restaurants such as Soul Cafe, Pretty Little Bistro and The Munchbox. Grocery retailers like International Food Centre will also be available to order on the platform.

Deliveroo are offering all customers 20 per cent off on selected restaurants until April 4, plus £10 their first order using the code: KINGSLYNN10. This is an offer for new customers only, with a minimum spend of over £15 for one redemption per person.

Deliveroo are also looking for more local restaurants to sign up to the platform and they are currently recruiting up to 50 people in Lynn to become riders.

The food delivery company plans to add more restaurants, takeaways and convenience stores over the coming months, wit Pizza Express and Costa Coffee set to join post-lockdown.
