Driver runs away from police leaving car full of contents in Swaffham park

Police are seeking to find a driver who allegedly failed to stop for them during an incident in Swaffham last night.

In a social media post, Breckland Police said property was found in the car which they believe may have been stolen.

The post said: "PC 649 and PC 1941 were kept busy last night with this vehicle which failed to stop for police in Swaffham.

"Ending up in a park the occupants ran off. We suspect the contents are stolen but could be wrong.

"If the driver wants to claim his property call 101 and ask for PC649."
