Driver seriously injured in Lynford crash
A motorist was seriously injured when their car collided with a tree yesterday afternoon.
Witnesses are being sought in connection with the incident, which happened on the A134 at Lynford at around 4.15pm on Sunday
Police say a red Volkswagen Fox, was heading towards Mundford when it left the road and collided with a tree.
Fire crews were also called to the scene and had to cut the driver, who was subsequently taken to hospital with serious leg injuries, free from the wreckage. The road was closed following the crash.
Police have appealed for anyone who may have seen the crash, or how the vehicle was being driven prior to it, to come forward.
