Police appeal after man injured in Swaffham assault




An investigation has been launched after a man suffered head and facial injuries during an assault in Swaffham on Saturday night.

Police say the victim, a man in his 40s, was driving along South Pickenham Road at around 8.35pm when a group of teenagers crossed the road in front of his car.

It is alleged that the man was attacked and his car damaged following an exchange between him and the group.

Officers are appealing for anyone who saw what happened, or anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam from the area and surrounding roads at around the time of the incident to come forward.

Witnesses are asked to contact PC Donna Quinn, at Dereham police station, via the non-emergency 101 number, quoting crime reference number 36/13154/20.
