Emergency services called to A149 near Heacham after three-vehicle crash

Emergency services were called to the scene of a three-vehicle crash on the A149 near Heacham yesterday (Sunday) evening.

Police, ambulance crews and an air ambulance responded to reports of the collision, and the road was closed between Heacham roundabout and the traffic lights near Norfolk Lavender at around 5.30pm.

Norfolk Police said, in a post on Twitter, that they expected the road to be closed "for some time".

The A149 had reopened in both directions by 9pm.
