Emergency repair work near King's Lynn as traffic lights in place
Emergency repair work has started on electricity cables near Lynn this week.
UK Power Networks engineers are on site at the junction of Fitton Road, Lynn Road and School Road in St Germans with traffic lights in place as of yesterday morning.
The company has a permit to complete this essential work by October 27, but will try to clear the site sooner if possible.
A spokesman apologised for any inconvenience caused.
Bus operator Lynxbus took to social media this morning to say they were unable to serve customers on Lewis Drive due to "UK Power Networks closing the road at St Germans without warning".
The UK Power Networks spokesman said it is not possible to give advance notice for emergency work and said they do not have a road closure in this area.
Lynxbus told King's Lynn Academy students who normally the catch the bus at St Germans to walk to the Crown and Anchor bus stop.
