Entertainer Roy Hudd dies ahead of Hunstanton show

Roy Hudd, who was due to play Hunstanton Princess Theatre on Wednesday of next week, has died, it was announced yesterday.
The veteran comedian was 83.
His show with Debbie Hudd celebrated 60 years’ in show business and was due to be in the form of a chatshow.
The self-styled ‘Master of Mirth’ was appearing in a matinee show at the theatre to talk about his long career which saw him star in many famous radio and television shows.
A spokeswoman for the theatre said it was unsure whether a replacement show would be put in its place yet.
