King’s Lynn Resist Vegan Kitchen business owner looking for recipients of skateboard challenge fundraiser
A restaurant owner who is undertaking a skateboard challenge wants to hear from groups that could benefit from his charitable fundraiser.
Gareth Ellison, owner of Resist Vegan Kitchen in Lynn, is putting out a tender to charities and community groups who would like to receive funds.
He said: “I shall skateboard from Cambridge to Lynn in a day.
“It will be between 75 and 100 miles, depending on the route.
“I want to put it out there to smaller charities and little community groups in Lynn that are fighting to survive.
“It is open to anybody that needs help.”
The epic trip will see Gareth skateboarding in order to raise funds for smaller and less known charities or groups and to highlight the alternative scene in the town.
He said: “I am all for highlighting the alternative people in Lynn.”
The business owner has created a Local Legends menu at the restaurant that recently saw a Man V Food -style challenge to celebrate members of the community and for fundraising purposes.
He said: “I will continue to do stupid things for the rest of the year.”
