Discover Downham holding Hands-on History fun event at half-term

Discover Downham is holding a Hands-on History fun event at its Priory Road base as part of its Create and Thrive workshops.

The half-term workshop for eight to 13-year-olds goes behind the scenes at the museum and involves a variety of hands-on activities where youngsters can be curators or archivists.

The tutor is Lily Fonzo, the assistant curator at GroundWorks Gallery in Lynn, and those taking part can use original objects and documents to create their mini-archive and a display for Discover Downham.
