Heacham kite surfer rescued by lifeboat crew




A Hunstanton lifeboat crew was called to rescue a kite surfer at Heacham yesterday morning (Sunday, June 9).

The crew received the call at 10.12am to attend to the man who was found half a mile offshore at Heacham South Beach.

He was landed onto the beach with his surfing gear where he was then taken into the care of the local coastguard response team.

A spokesman for the RNLI said no medical attention was required.
