Helicopter hovers low over King's Lynn
The peace and quiet of Friday afternoon in Lynn town centre has been shattered by a helicopter that hovered low over the River Great Ouse.
The orange-and-white chopper seemed to came to scarcely more than 200ft off the water as it hovered shortly before 3pm.
The craft then turned and circled for some minutes before heading off to West Lynn where it could also be seen to be hovering over one spot for some minutes before moving away towards The Wash.
Many people stopped to look at the spectacle, startled by the noisy aircraft.
The identity of the helicopter is not clear and Norfolk police said that it was unaware of an search operation in the vicinity at this time.
Thanks to reader Dan Addison on Faebook for showing us the Flightradar online tracker whih showed the helicopter had made the journey across The Wash from Lincolnshire.
