Hunstanton RNLI crew called to powerboat with fuel problems




A Hunstanton lifeboat crew were called to the aid of a broken down powerboat travelling from Wells to Lincolnshire yesterday evening.

The UK Coastguard requested the launch of the Hunstanton RNLI at 6.15pm after a person had developed fuel problems on route to Fosdyke.

After the crew had located the boat, it was towed to Fosdyke where the person was left in the care of the local coastguard response team.

The lifeboat was released and returned to Hunstanton station at 9.45pm.
