Motoring enthusiasts have joined forces to donate £500 to the Norfolk Accident Rescue Service (NARS).

The money came from Lynn and District Motor Club's Classic Car Run, held in July, in which dozens of vintage vehicles set out from the Tuesday Market Place.

It was also topped up by the event's sponsors, Lynn-based Anglia Car Auctions (ACA).

This was the first time that the rally, which first started more than 40 years ago, had supported NARS and follows a talk about the organisation at the club annual meeting this year.

More than 80 cars, some of which dated back to the early 1930s, took part in this year's event.

The rally followed a route of around 50 miles from Lynn down to Kentwell Hall in Suffolk where awards were presented.
