King's Lynn Dean's bold choice of costume

Dean Miller, 34 from King’s Lynn, and Captain of Swaffham FC, has raised £1,550 for Prostate Cancer UK after running 113 miles (the equivalent of four marathons) in January.

He also did a bold fun run in The Walks, Lynn, dressed as a giant penis.

Dean said: “It was my partner's idea, and a fun way to raise awareness for a serious cause, we got a lot of laughs.

“I don’t embarrass easily and my family came and did their daily exercise at the walks so I had some support, people were clapping as I went around the park, it was quite fun in the end!”

The run was in honour of Dean’s beloved grandfather, who passed away from Prostate Cancer.

Dean’s Grandmother, who was very supportive of his fundraising efforts also passed away last week, just after Dean had finished the run.

“I would like to think she held on to see me do it, I finished the run on the Wednesday and she passed on the Thursday, she could rest knowing that I had completed my goal in honour of Grandad.”
