King's Lynn vet appeals for help to find escaped cat
Staff at a Lynn vet surgery are appealing for help after a cat escaped on Saturday.
Two-year-old Sidney has been described as a "nervous" cat, and is white with tabby-like markings on his body.
Sarah Colgrave, clinical director at Mill House Vets, said: "Sidney is a very nervous cat and due to an unfortunate series of incidents, he managed to escape from a window. It's absolutely heartbreaking and horrible for the owner. I just hope she gets him back soon.
"We've been creating leaflets and posters and are doing anything we can to get him back. There have been sightings of him nearby so we are hopeful."
Owner Sarah Betts-Gray said: "Unfortunately he isn’t micro-chipped or neutered and he is also injured with a small lump on his left side. He is very shy of unfamiliar people so if he is seen, people should approach cautiously.
"I’m really worried about him. He has a small tea stain coloured marking below his nose on the left side. Mill House vets are offering a reward for his safe return. If anyone finds him, please could they contact the vets on 01553 771457."
