Laptops donated to two West Norfolk schools

Youngsters at two West Norfolk schools received a donation of laptops after Lady Howard of Castle Rising teamed up with a security firm's charitable fund.

Donating eight refurbished laptops to Reffley Academy and Dersingham Primary School, Explora Security provided the laptops through their Explora Scholarship Fund.

Lady Howard introduced the company to the West Norfolk schools so that laptops could be provided for those children in need of extra equipment to support their studies.

A spokesman for the company said: "We were extremely fortunate to be introduced to Lady Howard of Castle Rising. Lady Howard has been tirelessly working, amid her other charitable causes, to seek laptops, for children in the West Norfolk area, urgently required for local schools.

"Explora are extremely grateful to Lady Howard for her introduction and deployment to the schools."

Explora have been working across the UK to donate refurbished laptops to schoolchildren through their scholarship fund, which also provides further education for returning service men with disabilities.

In response to the pandemic, the scholarship fund have also launched various projects including their World Class Cyber Academy.
