Hunstanton lifeboat in action twice over weekend

Hunstanton lifeboat launched yesterday morning to assist a 10m catamaran with two people on board.

The lifeboat launched at 5.45am and proceeded to the Lower Road just outside of Boston. Hunstanton lifeboat took over the tow from Skegness lifeboat they had towed the vessel from Gibralter Point.

Skegness had earlier responded to the vessels May Day call that he had damaged his rudder, due to the state of the tide they moored him at Gibralter Point.
