Primark staff walking from King's Lynn to Hunstanton for East Anglian Air Ambulance in April

Staff at Lynn's Primark store are stepping out to raise money for East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) by walking from their place of work to Hunstanton on Sunday, April 10.

One of them, department manager Alison Byrne, said: "It's optimistically 18 miles if going by safe cycle routes. We are doing it to raise money and awareness for East Anglian Air Ambulance.

"Each year every Primark store gets to support their own chosen charity and this year, King's Lynn have chosen EAAA.

"We've done some in store fundraising events but we're hoping to raise, from our walk, at least £500.

"Our walk is from Primark King's Lynn to Hunstanton. The route we have mapped out is roughly 17.7 miles long. The walk takes place on the 10th of April and we'll be leaving Primark at 8am. There's currently 10 colleagues walking the event with two possibly joining later.

"Some in store fundraising that we've done is dress-up, dress down days, bake sales, and a friends and family evening event including out of hours shopping."
