Complete Commercial Finance in King's Lynn urges businesses to 'go local' for funding
Lynn finance broker Complete Commercial Finance is urging companies to "Call people, not places" as they navigate business funding, post-COVID-19.
Based at the Lake Business Centre on Cross Bank Road, Lynn, Complete Commercial Finance’s directors Karl Lanham and Michael Moore are ready to help local companies to future-proof their businesses with the right funding.
Said Karl: “High street lenders have been inundated with applicants for the Government’s Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme during lockdown and their teams are working extremely hard to support their clients.
"Yet the reality is many applicants looking for commercial funding for the purchase of a business premises, equipment or vehicles will initially need to apply online. As a local firm, we are ‘real people’ who business owners can meet to discuss their plans.
“It’s this personal contact which can be invaluable and just having a call to chat through ideas can make a real difference. Our expert team has more than 80 years’ combined experience in helping businesses in the area to secure commercial finance. As local people, we get to know and work with our clients over many years.”
Karl and Michael met as schoolboys at Lynn's King Edward VII and, after separately progressing careers in commercial finance, joined forces in 2019 to form Complete Commercial Finance. They have recently been joined by consultant Gary Webb who was formerly relationship director at Natwest in West Norfolk.
“We have a lifelong connection to Lynn and are active members of the community, so we have a deep understanding of the sectors and businesses in the area,” said Karl. “This gives us a real advantage when helping a client to navigate commercial finance, and often we speak directly with lenders to achieve a positive outcome, even when circumstances may not meet standard criteria for lending.
“More than 130,000 firms have received government-backed loans totalling £4.7bn during the pandemic, and we have still to hear how lenders will factor these into revised credit checking processes so it is even more important to work with a broker who can access the whole of market and navigate this new financial landscape.”
“Business finance is a complex area,” added Michael. “It’s often both what you know and who you know which makes a difference to successfully securing funding for a commercial property investment, equipment or loan. With an easily accessible Lynn office, business owners can meet us face-to-face to chat through and get their finances organised. We are ready to help, so if your business needs help, particularly during these challenging times, get in touch.”
