Man in 20s arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after A10 crash at Downham Market




A man was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a crash on the A10 yesterday.

Police were called to the collision between five vehicles on the A10 at Downham yesterday at 9.24am.

Emergency services, including paramedics, police and fire crews, attended the scene.

Injuries sustained by those involved in the crash were not believed to be life-threatening or changing, although two drivers were taken to hospital.

Norfolk Police has now confirmed that one of the drivers, aged in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.

He was taken to hospital before later being transferred to Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

He was later released on bail until May 12.
