Man in his 30s dies after five-vehicle crash on A1122 at Downham Market
A man in his 30s has died following a five-vehicle crash in Downham yesterday, police have confirmed this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision on the A1122, directly outside Anvil Lodge, at about 6.30am.
The crash involved a blue Vauxhall Nova, a white Scania HGV, a blue BMW 5 series, a white Volkswagen Passat and a white Iveco Daily.
The driver of the Iveco, a man in his 30s, died at the scene.
Two other drivers suffered serious injuries and remain in hospital in a critical condition.
Another driver was left with minor injuries.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or dash-cam footage of the manner of driving of any of the vehicles prior to the collision.
