Man seriously hurt following 'collision with tree' on A10 at South Runcton




A man has been seriously injured in a crash on a key West Norfolk road during the early hours of this morning.

Emergency crews were called to the A10 at South Runcton at around 1.30am today, following reports of a single vehicle collision.

The vehicle involved is thought to have collided with a tree.

Norfolk Police said a short time ago that the male driver of the car had sustained serious injuries, though they were not thought to be life-threatening.

The road was re-opened at around 4am.

Earlier, the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said its crews had to use hydraulic rescue equipment to cut occupants free from the wreckage.
