62-year-old King's Lynn man John Jenkins to appear at Norwich Crown Court charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving

A 62-year-old has been sent to crown court charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

John Jenkins, of Brockley Green in Lynn, appeared at the town's Magistrates Court last Thursday to face four charges.

They included causing serious injury caused by dangerous driving, failing to stop his vehicle after a road accident, driving a vehicle with eyesight which did not comply with legal requirements, and using a vehicle/trailer in a condition likely to cause danger of injury.

All four are related to the same incident, which occurred on April 4 this year.

Jenkins gave no indication of a plea, and Lynn magistrates declined jurisdiction of his case.

He will therefore appear at Norwich Crown Court on December 1 for a preliminary hearing, and has been released on unconditional bail in the meantime.
