Man's body found on Holkham beach near Lady Anns Road

The body of a man has been found on Holkham beach.

Police were called to the beach, near Lady Anns Road, at about 9.05am yesterday morning to reports a body had been discovered.

Emergency services attended the scene, including police, coastguard and ambulance crews, but he was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.

A Norfolk Police spokeswoman said the death is currently being treated as unexplained but not suspicious and enquiries are ongoing.

His next of kin have been informed and a file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.
