‘Massive’ litter pick as Fenland Wildfowlers Association cleans up area between Clenchwarton and Sutton Bridge

A “massive” litter pick saw bottles, tyres and drink cans collected by enthusiastic volunteers.

Last Saturday, around 30 members of the Fenland Wildfowlers Association gathered for a clean-up along the nine-mile stretch of foreshore between Sutton Bridge and Clenchwarton.

Armed with 4x4’s, trailers and bags, an “enormous amount” of rubbish was collected - mostly plastic bottles, plastic containers, tyres and drink cans.
