Motorcycle rider taken to hospital with neck injuries after Outwell collision

A motorcycle rider was taken to hospital by ambulance yesterday afternoon after an accident on the A1101.

Norfolk Police attended a collision at Outwell last night.

The collision between a car and a motorcycle occurred just before 7pm on the A1101 between Outwell and Emneth at the junction with Bramble Lane.

The motorcycle rider was taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution, with possible neck and back injuries that were not believed to be life threatening.

The rider was seen by drivers covered with a thermal blanket.

The road was closed but reopened at 11pm.
